History About Cannabis

The history of cannabis dates back thousands of years. It is believed to have originated in Central Asia and been used for medicinal purposes by ancient civilizations, including the Chinese and Indians.

The plant was also used in religious ceremonies by many cultures, including the Scythians, Hindus, and Rastafarians.

In the 19th and early 20th centuries, cannabis was commonly used in medicine and could be purchased over the counter in many countries.

However, the propaganda campaign against cannabis led to its criminalization in many parts of the world, starting with the United States in the 1930s.

In the last several decades, there has been a growing movement to legalize cannabis for medicinal and recreational purposes, with many countries and states now allowing some form of legal cannabis use.
